Spoiler-Laden Description of the Patient Zero TV Pilot and the Series:
EPISODE SUMMARY:
When a man's girlfriend is kidnapped, he goes to extraordinary lengths to find her. His desperate search takes a perilous turn when he uncovers evidence that she has been taking an untested drug linked to a high-end fertility clinic. This disturbing revelation leads him down a sinister path as he tries to rescue her and unravel the mystery behind the drug's origins.
SERIES SUMMARY:
Patient Zero is a long-form story series in the action/drama/science-fiction genres, and depicts a war between genetically modified humans and a sentient machine that forces its awareness into unwilling human hosts. Designed to be binge watched, the series deliberately delays the reveal of its more exotic elements.
The series is divided into four season arcs: the build-up to war, the war itself, the apocalypse that follows, and the post-apocalyptic world.
This pilot script is part 1 of 40.
